Great Places To Visit - Tumby Bay South Australia.

Nestled on the S.A. coast about 50kms from Port Lincoln S.A., is the little town of Tumby Bay.  It's a quaint little fishing village. Lovely beaches, Top Tourist Caravan Park (very comfortable), assorted shops including a delicious Bakery. People here are friendly, the weather has been great and it's very relaxing. We are staying in our caravan at the Tumby Bay Top Tourist Park, right on the beach. It about a 1 1/2km walk from here to the shopping centre.  We take our bags and head off each morning straight to the bakery for fresh supplies. Each day we reward ourselves for the long walk (Ha!) and buy a sweet for morning tea, then walk home via the Foodland, butcher, chemist, post office, hardware store or whatever shop we need to stop at. There is a bit of sea weed about at the moment, but it's not here all the time....we just got lucky! Doesn't bother me though. Still clear areas you can swim in. It's a great way to start the day. Later on we head over to the b...

Great Places to Visit- Kilcunda - Victoria - Australia

Well, just arrived back home yesterday from a lovely Easter break at Kilcunda. If your unaware of this little treasure, its on the coast after you go past the Philip Island turn off.  Look it up sometime, there's a caravan park and a motel for accommodation, and a pub and General Store for coffee, drinks, and food. I recommend the pub for meals, very good. We stayed with 16 friends from the Ivanhoe Photographic Society at the Kilcunda Motel. Right next to the pub, so very convenient for evening get-to-gethers. We had a great time exploring the wild coast line at "Killy", and ventured down to Inverloch, Philip Island etc as these are all easy driving distance from Kilcunda. Here are some of my favourite pics from our Easter break. Hope you all enjoyed a safe and Happy Easter as we did.

Rosebud Coastline

Went down to Rosebud for the weekend. Lovely spot. Great food, beautiful coastline. Nice part of the Victorian Coastline. Here's a few snaps to show you the lovely view.
