A Great Gig performed by Tash Mpantellis and Michael.

Went for a photo shoot to the Wine Bar in Fairfield last night for a talented young singer named Tash Mpantellis. Tash was accompanied on the keyboard by friend Michael. The Wine Bar was "chockers" with people keen to hear this young lady's vocal repertoire. She sang a variety of songs ranging from Contempory to Pop, to my favourite Jazz. She has a voice not unlike Uretha Franklin.(seriously good). Really liked the broad rang of songs she sung. A lovely young lady, rather quiet and shy when not holding a microphone, but give her a mike, some good music, and look out! Out comes this amazing voice.......WOW! Whilst she can sing soft, gently songs with perfect pitch, she can also blow your mind with boppy jazz, blues or rock. As I said I really like her singing Aretha Franklin stuff like RESPECT. Keep your eye, and ear on this talented young performer, and do yourself a favour, look for her on Face Book, watch for her next Gig, and go and hear her for yourself. Oh, apart fro...

Great Places to Visit-Melbourne Zoo

My nephew from N.S.W. was holidaying with us recently, for his July school holidays. We had a blast!! Took him to the Melbourne Aquarium, some fool (me) didn't think it would be worthwhile taking the camera......just shoot me now! Missed out on so many wonderful photo opportunities. Never mind....he and I had a great time at the Aquarium looking at the hugh rays, sharks, and the many, many, many different types of fish. He loved being in "the fish bowl", where the people are in the bowl, and the fish swim around you! We watched the divers feeding the hungry rays, and a greedy turtle that didn't know when he had had enough. On another day we ventured into the Melbourne Zoo. Took the camera on this day. It took us ALL day....6 hours of walking around the Zoo. We were blown away by the many different types of animals and how clean their enclosures were. It was fantastic to see them up close and personal. We loved watching the Red Panda climb down the tree, the lion walki...
