Great Places to Visit- Kilcunda - Victoria - Australia

Well, just arrived back home yesterday from a lovely Easter break at Kilcunda. If your unaware of this little treasure, its on the coast after you go past the Philip Island turn off.  Look it up sometime, there's a caravan park and a motel for accommodation, and a pub and General Store for coffee, drinks, and food. I recommend the pub for meals, very good. We stayed with 16 friends from the Ivanhoe Photographic Society at the Kilcunda Motel. Right next to the pub, so very convenient for evening get-to-gethers. We had a great time exploring the wild coast line at "Killy", and ventured down to Inverloch, Philip Island etc as these are all easy driving distance from Kilcunda. Here are some of my favourite pics from our Easter break. Hope you all enjoyed a safe and Happy Easter as we did.

Switzerland - Luzern - And Mt. Pilatus

Love, love, loved Switzerland! Sooooo beautiful and we were lucky with the weather, it was warm and only a little rain on one day out of the five that we stayed in Luzern. Lake Luzern is lovely and the Swiss are so organised and tourist orientated. Lovely clean gravel pathways with seats and bins everywhere along the lake shore with lighting! So you could stroll around the lake at your leisure, sit when the feet get weary, eat some take away and put your rubbish in a bin that was never far away. Tourist bliss! Did the touristy thing, cruise on the lake, cog wheel train up to Mt.Pilatus, walked along the tracks taking pictures, found out there was a motel up there and it was no dearer than staying in town.....so....why not! We booked a night up there with dinner and breakfast included. Well did we get a treat.....it SNOWED that night after a lovely sunny few days, so we were able to get pictures of sunshine and snow in one trip!! Very beautiful.

France - Lyon & Dijon

We had a one night stay in Lyon and two nights in Dijon. Loved the old part of Djorn known as Dijon Ville. Beautifull old buildings and cobblestone streets. Fantastic food and plenty of places to choose from when eating. Nice street markets to admire, warm weather. Ran into a couple from Melbourne who happened to be there at the same time, so had dinner together. Small world. Have to go to France to catch up with Melbourne friends! Ha! What are the chances! Anyway it was nice seeing familiar faces and having some Auzzies to chat with.
