Wondering what to do with the Christmas Ham this year to make it that little bit "special". Well look no further. I've found the tastiest and easiest glazed ham you will ever eat, and the family will think your a genius! Here's how it goes. 1 x ham on the bone, 1 bottle of whole cloves, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 2 cloves crushed garlic, 1 teaspoon 5 spice powder. First: Peel the skin off your ham and discard it. Then lightly score the fat into diamond shapes. Stud each diamond with a clove. Combine other ingredients in a bowl. Brush over ham. Stand ham on a rack in a baking dish with hot water in the base. (This stops the marinade from burning onto your baking dish). Bake 200C until ham is golden brown basting a couple of times with marinade. Remove ham from oven. Put remaining marinade in a saucepan, cook over low heat until thickened. Brush over ham just before serving/slicing. Leave any leftover marinade on the table in case people want to drizzle...

Just spent an hour playing with 2 lovely little girls, Grace & Olivia. I'm afraid mum that we may have destroyed the toy room in our "Tigger Hunt". Sorry about that....but it was worth it, we had lots of fun and I took some fun photos. As my client requested black and white photos for this particular photo shoot, don't adjust your monitors thinking the color's gone mad. There meant to be black and white. London was the last leg of our European Vacation before heading home via 2 nights in Hong Kong. London was unusually warm for our 4 days there. The locals were complaining (as was the weatherman on the news) that it was a heatwave. Yes, well, 27C is a heat wave in London I suppose.....not in Australia. So we were perfectly comfortable, and highly amused. Again the hop on, hop off, buses were a god send. Fantastic idea whoever invented them. An easy way to get to see all the major sites of an area with commentary to boot. You can get 1 day, 2 day tickets etc, depending on your needs. We made the most of them. TIP: if you are wanting to take pics from the bus, sit up the top, approximately 1/2 way back. That's the best spot for picture taking. We decided on my hubby's birthday to drop in for afternoon tea and scones with the Queen. Unfortunately she wasn't home, so we toured The Mews, The Palace, and The Queens Gallery instead.
