Flew to beautiful Brisbane for my nephew's wedding on Saturday 30th October 2010. The wedding and reception were held at Bretts Wharf. What a beautiful setting. The wedding was at 3.30pm in the lovely garden setting on the wharf, then the guests lingered and had nibbles and drinks whilst the bridal party went off for photos. When they arrived back more drinks and food flowed for the rest of the evening. There was no formal sit down dinner, just platters of food brought out continuously all night. There were breaks for speeches, cake cutting, some fun guessing games for the bride and groom, the traditional garter toss etc. During the evening when a gong would sound, everyone would head out (or turn around) to the lawn area where we were entertained by a flame thrower!! Spectacular, a very talented and no doubt hairless gentleman!! To say he was very good would be an understatement. All in all, it was a beautiful setting, a gorgeous wedding party, a r
